Troop 460 1986-2025
Knowing the history of something usually deals with dates, names, leaders, and other somewhat dry information. However, in this case it is about a small group of youth and their parents and others who did their best to support an organization focused on raising youth who would become strong leaders with strong values. Follow this link to learn more of how this troop was formed and how it grew.
A lot of our troop's history includes pictures and a few articles from local newspapers. Sometimes it's a special memory from a district event that stays in our hearts. And sometimes it's the memory of all those who share the special high rank of Eagle Scout, flying high above others. The Eagles' Nest is such a collection of those stories.
Finally, this history may include a philosophy of this great program that can help leaders and their youth to become leaders and make this organization grow. Delivering the Promise is such a document, preserved by one of our Scoutmasters David Rich.
